Chobe Riverfront in the massive Chobe National Park attracts huge herds of elephants and buffalo in the dry season, offering fantastic photographic opportunities as they bathe and drink in the late afternoon sunlight. Chobe wildlife includes four of the Big Five (the rhino is absent), cheetah, hyena, wild dog, hippo, roan, and sable.
Khwai is a wildlife-rich safari haven in the eastern fringes of the Okavango Delta, sandwiched between Moremi Game Reserve and Chobe National Park. Khwai is renowned for its excellent big cat and wild dog sightings.

Makgadikgadi Salt Pans - one of the largest salt flats in the world - offers exciting safaris that include wildlife game drives, meeting habituated meerkats, quad biking, spending time with Bushmen and glamping under the stars (for the more adventurous).
The Okavango Delta is a verdant inland delta formed by the mighty Okavango River flowing into the Kalahari Desert, a unique ecosystem shaped by annual floodwaters from Angola and channels engineered by hippos and elephants. The lush Okavango Delta teems with diverse wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo & rhino), wild dog, cheetah, hippo and pangolin.

3 nights at Chobe Game Lodge (Chobe National Park). An elegant riverside retreat within the park, offering classic style, sunset cruises on the Chobe River and romantic seclusion amid abundant wildlife.
3 nights at Sediba Sa Rona (Khwai Community Concession). A secluded tented camp overlooking the floodplains, combining warm hospitality, guided safaris and private bush dinners under the stars.

Timing
The ideal time for this luxury honeymoon safari is from May to October, Botswana’s dry season. During these months, wildlife gathers in high numbers along the Chobe and Boteti Rivers, while Khwai offers exceptional predator viewing and ideal conditions for the Okavango’s air and water activities.
The green season (November to April) brings lush landscapes, dramatic skies and vibrant birdlife — perfect for couples seeking solitude, soft light and a quieter, more intimate atmosphere.
