Horseback riding is an exciting and invigorating activity during your safari. We do not offer specialised horse safaris, but some lodges included in our packages offer horseback riding as an optional activity for a few hours or up to a full day out.
Wildlife encounters while on horseback take on a different meaning from game drives in a vehicle. Most animal species treat horseback riders as one of them, resulting in close encounters. Of course, animals such as lions and elephants can be a threat, but most stay away, and your guide is well-trained to avoid unsafe encounters, as they do during walking safaris.
