Lemala Kuria Hills Lodge is situated in the Wogakurya Hills, close to the Mara River in northern Serengeti, Tanzania. The lodge is surrounded by large boulders and kopjes and guests enjoy stunning views of gentle grass slopes, woodland and tree lined watercourses. This is an ideal position to view the Great Wildebeest Migration and the dramatic crossings over the Mara River.
The main communal area is dominated by magnificent kopjes, and each guest tent is carefully positioned amongst the rocks. The dining, bar, lounge, swimming pool and outside deck areas enjoy superb views over the Serengeti plains. Meals are enjoyed in camp or out in the bush and tea and post-game-drive cocktails are served on one of the kopjes overlooking the Isuria escarpment. There is a separate tented spa facility where you can enjoy massages and manicures with a view.
Accommodation consists of 15 glass fronted suite tents with en-suite flush toilet, running water and hot showers and freestanding bath and private plunge pool. Wifi is available in the guest tents.
Activities include morning and evening game drives in custom-made large 4×4 vehicles and bush walks. This is a Big 5 area – with regular sightings of lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes and many other species.
